U Bring Me . . . Joi It's a lot for some people to digest but when you are named you have to fully be able to live up to your name. I'm thankful that JOY, means a feeling of happiness because that is what everyday of my life I try to do; bring forth happiness. Through modeling and print work I have found a form of art that I have grown to love! There is so much more to a model than just beauty and once you realize that what we do is more than just trying to give someone something to look at then you have started our journey. . . We try to enlighten, educate, make you think, make you laugh and of course entice you to want to see more. Modeling has given me a freedom to express myself and I am thankful to it and to all the photographers and make up artist that I have worked with to help that expression. I hope you en'Joi'

Published by ubringmejoi at 11:08 am under Hollywood Edit This

Sadly this morning I was informed that:“Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital,” his publicist, Danica Smith, said in a statement from Los Angeles.

She said no other details were available and asked that his family’s privacy be respected.

I must say that I was always a huge fan of Mr. Mac’s. He had a sizzle to his comedy, it might of been the way that the words were interjected, or his tone, or the amount of cuss words that he was able to get into one sentence. “Kings of Comedy” will always be a classic! And his numerous roles from Damon Wayan’s “Mo’ Money” to his classic shady manager role in “Player’s Club”…. remember when he hit the money button on the wall, that was hilarious! I remember them throwing him in the trunk of a car and him having a horrible stuttering problem.

Year’s later he teamed up with Martin and Eddie Murphy in “Life” and who else could of played that homosexual role they way that he did, he seemed perfect for that role. Then he landed a great role as a con artist in the “Ocean’s” trilogy he was able to interact with a numerous amount of people in the industry from Brad Pitt to Ice Cube, from Halle Berry to Julia Roberts! He landed a sitcom in which he has won numerous awards for and was a 2 time Emmy Award Recipient! Bernie had depth, range and God-given talent! Bernie you will be missed by many!

He is leaving behind a wife of 31 years, Rhonda, a daughter Je’Niece, and husband and grand daughter, Jasmine.

My prayers go out to his family and close friends! Dad take care of Bernie up there, I know that he will be a riot and on his best behavior!
